Volunteer Coordinator Job Description
with Estimated Hours 17-20 Hours.
This is an unpaid volunteer position or could be used for internship purposes.
Responsible for entire volunteer program:

Recruit Volunteers • Recruit volunteers through the TSN newsletter, email, community events, community calendars,
church connections, volunteer fairs, social media,
etc.
• Hold volunteer interest meetings and/or schedule
meetings with individuals as needed.
• Along with Executive Director interview TLC
volunteers.

Coordinate

(individuals and
groups)
• Serve on all development committees (from P&P).
• Work with Development Director to recruit chair for
all committees (from P&P).
• As lead, but with input from others, identify
volunteer opportunities (roles, times, # of
volunteers needed)
• Schedule volunteers for volunteer opportunities or
provide sign up.
• Attend volunteer driven events or recruit event
volunteer coordinator.
